Egoistic nature of our Indian society is on the rise as high end jobs are up for grabs for and people doing odd jobs are looked down upon. this has to change .
In the US students make their own money by washing cars, walking dogs , helping out as a delivery boy etc , which are well supported by the parent. whereas in India parents support their kids till the age of say about 22 (till they graduate from college). several factors show that the kids making their own money and supporting their own life to an extent improves their work skill , their money management and also teaches them to respect people for the work they do. Passion should be every mans driving factor . you can be a part of a good job and be not so very good at it and unhappy but u can do what u like and be very good at it , irrespective of what the job is . Do what you love and love what you do . Vision and passion are two things that drive someone successful. whatever your vision maybe or whatever your passion is , achieving that is what makes you successful . Most parents give their children the wrong idea of success by terming it as being rich and being able to build a big home etc. what your point of success is , lies in your heart . The day when you accomplish your dream is when you feel content and happy. The Indian education system should change for the better , teaching kids to follow their dreams and making them more self dependent than teaching them to rely on everyone around them.
In a recent report by a reputed newspaper it was quoted that most of the recruits from India and very strong theoretically whereas they lack practical knowledge and fail to assert themselves in the job they are assigned.
Another factor quoted was the lack of ability to work as a team . Its time our education system took a change. years have gone by and our leaders are still stuck in the olden ages. Our generation has to emerge as leaders and make modern India ,"MODERN" India and spread education and teach kids the purpose of life before anything else. What is the reason for the increase in rate of rapes and molestation all over India? why do women still feel insecure ? In India there still exists ''boys'' and "girls" schools . This is one thing that in my point of view should be banned in India . Boys and girls should be taught to coexist with each other rather than separately . This would teach them to respect one another and result in peaceful coexistence. Act now , raise awareness , support the cause . India is the country with the Highest number of youngsters and yet we have systems of the old . change for the better . stand for the better . hold hands for the future generation .
